May & Ben Wong's Dream Hawaii Wedding in Oahu

May and Ben decided long ago, back in January 2011, that they wanted to be married in Hawaii, Oahu to be exact, and that they wanted to stay with their families at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Waikiki Beach. The "Pink Lady", as it is called, is the oldest and most Hawaiian hotel in all of Oahu. Kings and queens stayed at the hotel back in the hay-days of Hawaii's history.

Attended by 20 of their closest friends and family, May & Ben were married at Magic Island on September 29th, 2012. Both May’s and Ben’s families live in New York, so the hustle and bustle and nightlife of Waikiki was just what they wanted for their long vacation honeymoon.

Rhiannon Mariani, May's hair & make-up artist, did a  great job and created a beautiful up-do for May, which included curls shaped like hearts. May was calm and excited… and a little sun burnt… as she slipped into her dress with light blue sash and accents, gold shoes with bows and just the right accessories in silver.

The Royal Hawaiian Wedding package included all the items that they wanted for their wedding & honeymoon, namely:

Five Nights Tower Ocean Front Room
Upgrade to suite based on availability
Complimentary Champagne
Convertible Rental Car
State Hotel Taxes Included
Minister of your choice
Marriage License Arrangements
On-site Coordinator
Decorative Wedding Certificate
Witnesses if needed
Non Alcoholic Toast
Traditional Hawaiian Leis
French Style Bridal Bouquet
Haku Head Lei or Hair flowers
Professional Photography
Magic Island Location

They added rooms for their parents, hair & makeup artist and a beautiful circle of love flowers.

Here is a sampling of some of the other photos.

Rev. Eleanor Fong performed a beautiful non-religious ceremony.

It's easy to see that Hawaiian Island Weddings had just the right package to make all of  May & Ben's wedding dreams come true!

Congratulations May & Ben!
