Great news: Hawaii is closer than ever to marriage equality.

Governor Neil Abercrombie is pushing lawmakers to hold a special legislative session to pass a marriage equality bill -- and that session could be called as soon as early next week.

This could be a big moment for the Aloha State -- and you should be part of it.

Right now, 13 other states and D.C. have taken the step to allow same-sex couples to marry the person they love. And this year, the Supreme Court struck down the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act.
