Some Not So Good News From The DLNR
Well, some not so great news has come again from the Department of Land and Natural Resources... It's OK that they now require permits for weddings on Hawaii beaches, we've been asking for this for years, but now they want to tell us that there are no "props" allowed at your beach wedding. Now, don't be alarmed, we don't think that they can legally do this, and all weddings we have arranged will go on as scheduled. What do they mean by "props"? Apparently, they mean no chairs, archways, gazebos, topiaries, standing flower baskets, cake tables & cakes, flower pathways & circles, are all "props". If you feel that the DLNR is wrong with this ruling, please sign our Petition at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/hawaiibeachweddings/index.html which we will send to the Governor of the State of Hawaii, DLNR and State Legislature.
