No tsunami threat after 3.6 magnitude earthquake shakes Maui

MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) -
An earthquake shook parts of west Maui on Monday, but it did not generate a tsunami threat for Hawaii, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
The earthquake was initially measured at a magnitude of 3.6 when it struck shortly after 4 a.m. HST, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
There were no immediate reports of damages or injuries.
