FAQ: What is an energy surcharge?

As Hawaii has the most expensive energy in the US (electricity and gasoline), and all products that are shipped to Hawaii are more expensive due to energy prices, we adopted the Energy Surcharge to help re-coup these expenses, rather than increase the price of all our packages each year. If a couple lives in Hawaii, or are in the military, we waive this charge.
