#10 - DT FLEMING BEACH Maui
This popular beach is great for swimming when the ocean is calm but rip tides may develop when the surf rises. The beach is long, wide and sandy and surrounded by ironwood trees that provide wonderful shade. Caution needs to be taken when swimming due to the steep slope of the beach that causes a backwash even during calm seas.
#9 NAPILI BAY BEACH Maui
This large sandy beach is perfect for a family outing. It is located next to the Napili Kai Resort. The slope of the beach into the water is steep and visitors should use caution when entering. A shore break draws body boarders to this location, especially during the winter months.
#8 ULUA BEACH Maui
Fronted by the Renaissance Wailea Resort, Mokapu Beach and Ulua Beach are two of the most popular beaches in Wailea because of their scenic beauty. Wailea Elua Condominiums also front Ulua Beach. Swimming, snorkeling and diving are excellent, and if you're hungry, there's the Maui Onion restaurant and bar at the Renaissance.
#7 POLO BEACH Maui
Polo Beach is fronted by the Kea Lani Resort and the Polo Beach Condominiums. The beach is a wide sandy crescent and the area can be excellent for snorkeling and swimming. As with all South Maui Beaches, be mindful of the ocean as swimming conditions can sometimes be hazardous and rocks present slippery dangers.
#6 HO'OKIPA BEACH Maui
This beach is known as possibly the best place in the world for windsurfing. It is the site of two major world-class competitions. Due to the strong surf, windsurfing at this beach should be limited to the experts. However, the beach has an 1/8 mile coral reef that makes a pond-like area perfect for taking a dip in the early morning or when the ocean in calmer.
#5 KAPALUA BAY BEACH Maui
The beach at scenic Kapalua Bay has been proclaimed one of America's finest. But, we're not fond of it for ceremonies, mostly because it's "over used" and the weather here is too unpredictable. So, with that said, if this is where you want to have your wedding, "your wish is our command."

Located on Maui’s sunny South Shore, Wailea Beach is one of several perfect beaches serving this resort community. Wailea Beach is a large, wide, crescent, graced with lovely fine, golden sand. The beach is protected at both ends by large, black lava points, making the calm waters ideal for swimming. Clear blue waves roll into shore and are perfect for riding, with or without a board.

The beach is a long strand of soft gray sand tucked between lava rock outcroppings. Because the waves break right at the shore, it can be a dangerous beach, especially during high surf. Body surfing and boogie boarding can be difficult here due to the shore break.

A huge crescent of coral white sand awaits you at Big Beach, also known as Oneloa Beach in Makena State Park. While this beach is fairly remote in one of the last mostly undeveloped areas in Maui, it is one of the most spectacular beaches Maui offers.
