Hawaii Passes Same-Sex Marriage Law





Hawaii's Governor, Neil Abercrombie, signs bill to legalize gay marriage on November 13, 2013, legalizing gay marriage in the state of Hawaii. Hawaii is the 15th State to legalize gay marriage.

The law allows gay couples living in Hawaii and visitors to marry in the state starting Dec. 2, 2013. Hawaiian Island Weddings has been arranging same sex commitment ceremonies since 1998, and arranging Hawaii civil unions since 2011. Now we are excited to be offering gay weddings that actually are recognized as legal by the Federal Government! We also have complete packages with have vendors who are gay friendly on Oahu and the island of Hawaii. Kauai is not available for same sex weddings at this time.
