Maui's Private Wedding Sites

If you are considering being married in Maui, and you have many guests for a ceremony and reception dinner, consider the following private locations for your Hawaiian Island Wedding. All private sites can include chairs, archways, decorations, and all have restroom facilities. Some private sites can include tent rentals, many have backup rain locations. All sites can include arrangements for your reception.

GANNON PRIVATE OCEAN VIEW LOWER LAWN adjacent to the ocean view lawn above, this larger private ocean view ceremony location at the Gannon Restaurant can accommodate larger groups of more than 50. This location is a perfect spot for weddings during the day. Since it is part of the Gannon Restaurant, your elegant wedding reception is just steps away from the ceremony. Chairs, up to 20, are also provided at no extra cost. Additional chairs are also available. So if you want a private location and have between 20-50 guests, this is a great location. Site fee when having a reception at the restaurant is $375.00, or, $425 if you are not having a reception at the restaurant.

PRIVATE MOLOKINI LOOKOUT (Second Photo) and (Third Photo) located on the Wailea Gold/Emerald Golf Course, this private ocean view lookout is perfect for large groups and private catered receptions. This very private large grassy lookout is an excellent location for sunset weddings or weddings during the day. Since it is maintained by the Gannon Restaurant, your wedding reception can be catered at this location for larger groups, or can take place in one of the intimate dining spots in the restaurant. 20 chairs are included for your guests, additional chairs are available. Site fee when having a reception at the restaurant is $825.00, or, $1000 if you are not having a reception at the restaurant. (Some other restrictions apply).

MAKENA RESORT GARDENS is located in the courtyard garden area at the Makena Beach and Golf Resort in Makena. The courtyard garden offers a large man-made waterfall, streams, a beautiful koi pond with bridge, and Japanese rock gardens. The beautifully manicured gardens are quite picturesque and a perfect location for intimate weddings or for groups of 30 or more. Wedding ceremonies are performed on a grassy area with the stream and waterfall in the background, or on the flagstone with a background of tropical flowers and foliage. MAKENA RESORT OCEANFRONT LAWN (Second Photo) is also at the Makena Resort in Makena. Their beautifully manicured oceanfront lawn is a perfect spot for a ocean side day or sunset wedding. We can provide archways, chairs and what ever decoration you wish at this private location. T he oceanfront lawn will accommodate for 2 to 200 guests and is quite picturesque. WAILEA HOTEL GAZEBO is an attractive backdrop for romance. The resort location of Wailea provides the privacy and exclusivity that you may desire with silence, peace, and solitude making it an ideal place for exchanging or renewing wedding vows. In addition to dramatic ocean views of the Pacific and nearby islands, your event in Wailea Maui is picturesque with astounding sunsets with hues of magenta, gold, and fiery red. The air is infused with the sweet scent of plumeria and tuberose and other island fragrances courtesy of our enchanting gardens. The intimate gazebo nestled on a cliff offers awe-inspiring and provoking views, sealing your wedding with unrivaled beauty. Fee $1500 includes ceremony and reception time of 5 hours.

WAILEA GOLF COURSE The beautiful and extremely private Wailea Blue Golf Course location provides complete privacy and comfort for your guests at your evening wedding. Located on the first tee of the Wailea Golf Course, this spot is a perfect place for your ceremony when you have guests, or if you only have just a few. With the serene and picturesque backdrop of the first hole, and the bank of trees providing great shade for the comfort of your guests, the Wailea Golf Course location is a wise choice. MAKENA OCEANFRONT ESTATE (Second Photo) The Makena Oceanfront Estate Wedding location is a beautifully landscaped private gated property in South Maui. The Estate is perfect for wedding groups of 50 - 200 or more. A modest 5 bedroom house on the property is available for you to get ready on your wedding day. The large oceanfront lawn can accommodate up to three large tents and has an existing gazebo by the ocean. Weddings can take place during the day or at sunset. The fee for up to 50 guests is about $3000 (other fees also apply).

THE KAHILI GOLF COURSE - WAIKUPU The gazebo at the Kahili Golf Course is a perfect outdoor wedding ceremony site nestled in the West Maui Mountains and overlooks water features, majestic Cook Island Pines, and the green isthmus of Central Maui gently sloping to the sea. This site includes the use of the gazebo and chairs set up for up 20 guests for 2 hours. Maximum capacity 100. Site fee is currently $500.

THE HO'OHENO ROOM AT THE KING KAMEHAMEHA GOLF COURSE - WAIKUPU The Ho'oheno Room at the King Kamehameha CG is another new venue available for couples who want a spectacular view while having the protection of an indoor event. Your reception at the King Kamehameha Golf Course Restaurant is just steps away. Plenty of room for over 60 guests, the Ho'oheno Room is available with an archway and chairs for guests for 2 hours. Site fee is currently $850.00.

THE OLOWALU PLANTATION HOUSE (Second photo) Centrally located in Maui at Olowalu, this sprawling private estate property is a fabulous spot to exchange your wedding vows and have a delicious catered reception. We can provide everything you need for an unforgettable wedding, from the minister, photography and flowers to the caterer, tents, tables & chairs and special touches like flower archways and tropical tiki torches. The Olowalu Plantation House is the right location for larger groups. Site fee $2900 to $3400.

MERRIMAN´S RESTAURANT DECK located right at Kapalua Bay Beach, the Merriman´s Restaurant has a variety of wedding locations and reception options. These private locations are very affordable and can accommodate up to 100 guests for your ceremony and reception. You do not have to have a reception here to be married at the Merriman´s Restaurant. Deck location site fee $2400.

MERRIMAN´S RESTAURANT SIDE LAWN (Second Photo) (Third Photo) another wedding site at the Merriman´s Restaurant is the Side Lawn. This is a picturesque cliffy location on the North side of the restaurant which can accommodate groups of less than 30 guests. White wooden chairs are additional. Bookings for Friday or Saturday require the booking of a dinner location. Side Lawn location site fee $700.

LUAU GROUNDS located at the new luau grounds oceanfront in Lahaina,the improved grounds are a great place for your sunset wedding prior to your luau reception. The grounds are private property so it's a great venue for your private beachfront ceremony. Grounds fees $2150.00.

LAHAINA OCEANFRONT INN located right on the ocean in Lahaina, this private Inn is a great place to stay or be married. Nightly accommodations start at $1800/night for 5 bedrooms or $2000 for 6 bedrooms. (Ohana cottage with bedroom, kitchen and living area) (tax & cleaning not included). This beautiful immaculate property is also available for wedding only or wedding and reception only at very affordable rates. Starting at $1400 for day rental for up to 25 guests - access to Property 10 am-10 pm, $500 refundable cleaning deposit. The property can accommodate up to 100 guests for weddings and receptions. LAIANIA GARDENS - HYATT REGENCY RESORT The most private location on the grounds of the Hyatt Regency is the Lahaina Gardens. Off the beaten pathways of the hotel, hidden away from general sight, the Lahaina Gardens offers ocean views, room for up to 50 chairs and an archway.
The wedding site is on flagstone and surrounded by tropical flowers and lush tropical foliage.  Accommodates up to 50 guests. Grounds fees $3500.00 (Additional costs apply).

STATUE GARDENS - HYATT REGENCY RESORT Panoramic views of the blue Pacific and the palm-fringed Ka'anapali coast create the perfect backdrop for Statue Gardens. This grassy lawn is accented with blooming bougainvillea flora and plumeria trees. Ideal for wedding ceremonies and private receptions of up to 60 guests, the garden area also offers a romantic setting for a private, candlelit dinner for two under the stars. Accommodates 60-80 guests. Grounds fees $3500.00 (Additional costs apply).

ALOHA PAVILION - WESTIN MAUI This unique outdoor location offers stunning ocean and neighbor island views and take full advantage of all that the Westin Maui has to offer - waterfalls, palm trees and golden sunsets. The venue features beach access, full-service kitchen, lounge area, unique staging and privacy. Recommended for ceremonies and receptions for more than 20 guests. Grounds fee $3500.00.

MAUI GARDENS located in East Maui in Heulo; the Maui Gardens is a luscious botanical gardens with breathtaking views of Maui´s beautiful North Shore. This private location, nestled in a very sacred & secluded valley, is considered by many to be the most spectacular and premier wedding site on the island. If you are looking for a wedding site that is above and beyond a public beach or a busy resort, The Maui Gardens offers a very special and unique experience: unspoiled Hawaiian beauty that is private, expansive, natural and elegant. This beautiful 11-acre North Shore Private Estate offers: a natural windbreak on all terraces for comfort, inspiring panoramic ocean views at the wedding and reception sites, a procession trail that winds alongside a stream bed through lush tropical gardens, a cascading natural waterfall at the wedding ceremony site hosts up to 80 guests, an expansive oceanfront reception terrace that can host up to 100 guests with tables and chairs, friendly peacocks and a flock of tame white doves for photo opportunities. Site fees range from $750 to $7000. Add $25 travel time for each vendor for your wedding.
